Beacons Pricing 2026: Which Plans Take 9% of Your Sales
Beacons is free to use and takes 9% of every sale. Paid plans are $10, $30 and $90 a month, and the fee drops to 0% at $30. Which plan is cheapest depends entirely on what you sell: under roughly $333 a month in sales, free plus the 9% still wins.
Which Beacons plan is cheapest for you?
Add the subscription to 9% of your monthly sales and compare the totals. Payment processing is identical on every tier, so it cancels out of the comparison.
| Monthly sales through Beacons | Free ($0 + 9%) | Creator ($10 + 9%) | Creator Plus ($30 + 0%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0 | $0 | $10 | $30 |
| $100 | $9 | $19 | $30 |
| $222 | $20 | $30 | $30 |
| $333 | $30 | $40 | $30 |
| $500 | $45 | $55 | $30 |
| $1,000 | $90 | $100 | $30 |
| $2,000 | $180 | $190 | $30 |
Two things fall out of that table, and the first one is rarely said out loud.
Creator is never the cheapest plan at any sales level. It charges the same 9% as Free with $10 of subscription stacked on top, so Free beats it on cost at $0 in sales and still beats it at $2,000. Creator is a features purchase (custom domain, branding removal, 300 daily AI credits, 500 email sends, advanced SEO controls), not a savings one. If you are picking a tier on price alone, Creator is not in the running.
The decision that actually matters is Free versus Creator Plus, and it flips at about $333 a month in sales. That is the $30 subscription divided by the 9% fee. Below it, keep the commission. Above it, the flat $30 is cheaper, and it gets cheaper every month your sales grow, because the subscription does not scale and the fee does.
If you are already paying for Creator to get the custom domain, your breakeven is lower. You are only closing a $20 gap, so Creator Plus wins at around $222 a month in sales.
Two caveats before you run the numbers on yourself. Only revenue that flows through Beacons counts: a Gumroad checkout or an invoice you send by hand is not being taxed, so it does not push you toward an upgrade. And the fee is charged on gross sales rather than profit, which matters if what you sell carries a cost of goods.
How much does Beacons charge per sale?
Nine percent on Free and Creator. Zero on Creator Plus and Creator Max.
That is Beacons' own platform fee, charged on top of the payment processor's cut (Stripe's is around 2.9% + $0.30, and it goes to Stripe, not Beacons). In practice a $25 digital product sold on Free or Creator nets you $22.75 before processing. Sell forty of those in a month and Beacons has taken $90 of it, which happens to be the price of the top tier.
The fee is what makes the free plan expensive. A free plan with a 9% commission is a revenue-share deal, and it is a good one only while your revenue is small.
Payouts themselves are not affected by your tier. You connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, so Beacons is not the payer of record: direct sales settle instantly, while affiliate commissions can be cashed out immediately but take 3 to 5 business days to land.
How much does Beacons cost per month?
$0, $10, $30 or $90. Annual billing takes roughly 17% off each paid tier.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Effective monthly | Fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 9% |
| Creator | $10 | $100/yr | $8.33 | 9% |
| Creator Plus | $30 | $300/yr | $25 | 0% |
| Creator Max | $90 | $900/yr | $75 | 0% |
Free, $0. A customizable link in bio, a daily-updating media kit, unlimited digital products, affiliate links, 30 AI credits per day, and 50 email sends per month. Sales carry the 9% fee.
Creator, $10/month or $100/year. Annual works out to $8.33 a month. It adds a free custom domain, 300 daily AI credits, 500 email sends a month, advanced SEO controls, and Beacons branding removal. The 9% fee stays.
Creator Plus, $30/month or $300/year. Annual works out to $25 a month. This is the tier where the seller fee goes to zero. It also adds unlimited AI credits, unlimited email sends, 100% of your affiliate commissions, Buy Now Pay Later checkout, and unlimited courses with video hosting plus unlimited memberships.
Creator Max, $90/month or $900/year. Annual works out to $75 a month. It adds Google Workspace, white-glove onboarding, prioritized support, a physical NFC card, and VIP event access.
Prices here were verified on the Beacons pricing page on 2026-08-14. Note that the current plan names are Free, Creator, Creator Plus and Creator Max. Older names (Creator Pro, Store Pro, Business Pro) are retired, and plenty of third-party roundups still quote them alongside stale numbers.
How much does it cost to use Beacons?
Nothing, if you are not selling. The free plan has no time limit and no trial clock, and it covers the link-in-bio page, the media kit, unlimited digital products and affiliate links. You can genuinely run a storefront on it, which is unusual among free tiers.
What it costs you instead is 9% of every sale, Beacons branding on your page, and a beacons.ai URL rather than your own domain.
The email allowance on Free is 50 sends per month, not 250. That figure changed, and third-party comparison pages have not caught up. Fifty sends is a handful of messages to a small list, not an email tool. AI credits are capped at 30 a day, which is a few generations rather than a working assistant. If email is central to your business, read the reliability issues creators have reported with Beacons email before you build a list there at any tier.
What does Creator Max add, and who is it for?
Honestly, not many people. Creator Max is $90 a month, and the fee is already 0% one tier below at $30. You are paying $60 a month extra for Google Workspace, white-glove onboarding, prioritized support, a physical NFC card, and access to VIP events.
Google Workspace on its own is a few dollars a seat. The real product here is the service layer: someone to set the account up, and someone who answers when it breaks. That has value if you are running a business on the platform and cannot afford a week of silence from support. For a solo creator, it is a poor deal against paying $30 and buying Workspace directly.
How does Beacons pricing compare to Linktree and Stan Store?
The three tools price the same job differently, and the fee column decides most of it.
| Tool | Cheapest paid plan | Cheapest 0%-fee plan | Free plan | Custom domain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beacons | $10 (Creator) | $30 (Creator Plus) | Yes, 9% fee | From $10 |
| Linktree | $8 (Starter) | $35 (Premium) | Yes, 12% fee | None on any plan |
| Stan Store | $29 (Creator) | $29 (Creator) | No, 14-day trial | None on any plan |
Beacons is the cheapest route to a zero-fee storefront with a custom domain: $30 gets you both, where Linktree's fee-free tier is $35 and still leaves you on a linktr.ee URL. Stan Store undercuts it at $29 with 0% from the first plan, but has no free tier and no custom domain either. The full breakdowns are in the Beacons vs Linktree comparison, the Beacons vs Stan Store breakdown, which prices the exact crossover (Beacons Creator is cheaper until about $211/mo in sales), and the Stan Store pricing guide. If you want to lay your own options out side by side, our pricing table generator will build the grid for you.
Disclosure: we build Linkero, a link-in-bio page builder, so weigh this accordingly. Linkero has no checkout, which means no seller fee to escape and nothing to compare on the 9% axis; it is the swap when you want the page and the custom domain without a storefront bolted on. Our plans are on the pricing page.
Worth noting separately: pricing is not the only thing people ask about this platform. Support response times and account suspensions come up constantly, which is why is Beacons AI legit is a question at all.
FAQ
What is the cost of Beacons? Between $0 and $90 a month. Free is $0, Creator is $10, Creator Plus is $30, and Creator Max is $90. On top of that, the Free and Creator tiers take 9% of every sale, so your real cost depends on how much you sell.
How much is a Beacons subscription annually? $100 a year for Creator, $300 for Creator Plus, and $900 for Creator Max, which works out to $8.33, $25 and $75 a month. Annual billing saves about 17% against paying monthly.
Which Beacons plan has no transaction fee? Creator Plus at $30 a month is the cheapest tier with a 0% seller fee. Creator Max at $90 also charges 0%, but the fee is already gone at $30, so the extra $60 buys service and perks rather than savings.
Is the Beacons free plan good enough to sell on? Yes, up to a point. Below about $333 a month in sales the 9% fee costs less than any paid tier, so Free is the rational choice. Above it you are donating money to avoid a $30 subscription.
Does Beacons include a custom domain? Yes, from the $10 Creator plan up. This is one place Beacons beats Linktree outright, which offers no custom domain on any tier.
